Deft is built on one promise: we never connect to your bank. We never ask for, store, or transmit bank credentials. We don't use Plaid, Yodlee, or any aggregator. The only financial data we ever see is what you manually type in.

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address, first name, and (optionally) phone number. When you use the app, we store the bills, income entries, budgets, savings goals, and notes you choose to log. That's it.

How we use it

Your data is used to make Deft work for you: showing your bills on the right dates, calculating your free cash, syncing across your devices, and (if you opt in) sharing with a household partner. We do not sell your data, and we do not run ads against it.

Where it lives

Your account and data are stored in Supabase, a Postgres-based cloud database, with row-level security so only you (and household members you invite) can read your rows. Subscriptions are processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat — we never see your card number.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. When you do, your profile and all associated bills, income, budgets, savings goals, and transactions are permanently removed.
